ITALIAN - (10 WEEKS)

Courses include 10 consecutive weekly classes (barring major holidays) / 20 hours of total instruction. Classes meet once a week for 2 hours at our location. Each listing below is a separate course.

 

Italian 101

Italian 101 Beginner - June 2nd, 2012 - Saturdays from 2:00pm to 4:00pm

Italian 101 Beginner - June 13th, 2012 - Wednesdays from 5:30pm to 7:30pm

Please note that all classes are subject to a minimum enrollment. New classes post weekly. Registration and payment are due at least one day in advance of the class start date (some exceptions do apply).

 

Laura Parrish - Italian InstructorLaura Parrish - Italian Instructor


LauraParrish is originally from Milan, Italy. She studied literature and Italian grammar at the Universita' degli Studi in Milan. She also holds a minor in Business Studies.
Her strong grasp of Italian grammar makes it easy to for students to get a fast and solid understanding of the Italian language. Her approach to the language is innovative and fun and her students appreciate her experience and enthusiasm, which aid tremendously the learning process.
She also is involved in preparing those who are looking to relocate or work in Italy. She has over 11 years of business experience in Milan's C-level administration and support and strong knowledge of Import/Export fundamentals. She can teach the basics of Italian Customer Care, correct composition of Commercial Letters, Resumes, requests for quotations, invoices, and the Italian Double Entry System.
As a writer, Ms. Parrish has written three historical novels. "The Game of the Parts", the adventure of a renaissance-era mercenary soldier based in Italy, was published in 1999by the Gremese International Publishing House in Rome.
