Welcome note:
您好
nin2-hao3 ‘hello!’ Welcome to this new,
exciting and cultural journey. Here are some extra activities you can
do to better facilitate the learning process. One of the keys in
learning a new language is to immerse yourself in the environment of
the target language. Although this class is distributed in a weekly
basis, the following activities are designed to provide you with ways
of “using” the newly acquired language, Chinese, in your daily
life.
Constantly
thinking about Chinese. Every time you say “thank you”, “sorry”,
“nice to meet you”, and so on, translate them into Chinese at
least in your head. This
will enhance your durability with the language.
