Courses are 10 classes / 20 hours long. Classes meet once a week for 2 hours.

1.    Japanese 101 Beginner - November 17th, 2008 - Monday from 7:30pm to 9:30pm

2.    Japanese 101 Beginner - December 3rd, 2008 - Wednesday from 7:30pm to 9:30pm

3.    Japanese 101 Beginner - January 8th, 2009 - Thursday from 7:30pm to 9:30pm

4.    Japanese 101 Beginner - January 10th, 2009 - Saturday from 10:00am to 12:00pm

5.    Japanese 101 Beginner - January 19th, 2009 - Monday from 7:30pm to 9:30pm

6.    Japanese 101 Beginner - January 24th, 2009 - Saturday from 12:00pm to 2:00pm

7.    Japanese 102 Beginner - November 25th, 2008 - Tuesday from 7:30pm to 9:30pm

Emiko Deguchi - Japanese Instructor

Study Japanese right here in Atlanta! Japanese-Atlanta trade is at an all-time high, and many Atlanta businesses operate in Japan and visa versa. Japan boasts the second largest economy in the world. In order to be so, the “Land of the Rising Sun” relies heavily on international trade. Ms. Deguchi is originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, in the southern part of Japan. She has been teaching Japanese for over ten years. Her style focuses first on an understanding of the meaning behind the symbols and then moves to simple structures, questions and conversation. She has also worked as an interpreter and translator.
